Welcome to our home. Home to the original beer of McLaren Vale, accompanied by sophisticated dining & the best views in the region. We create food that we love to eat, using seasonal produce that is designed to be shared and of course compliment the reason we are here –  Beer.

Food is sourced and prepared fresh daily, to match the range of our fresh beers. Sophisticated food inspired by tradition combined with award winning beverages.

The Vale Restaurant is a place for people to come together to socialise, eat and drink a wide variety of tasty brews from the source.

The Vale Restaurant creates local food and beverage experiences combining sight, sound, smell, touch and taste. It utilises its spectacular natural setting reflecting the strong relationship between the original South Australian Craft beer brand and the region. 

With experienced mixologists, dedicated brand ambassadors, access to brewers, distillers and wine makers, accommodation on site the Vale Restaurant provides a truly unique space to host your next tailored event, corporate function, conference, client experience or gathering.

Accommodation

Why not take the opportunity for an extended McLaren Vale experience and stay the night after your Vale Restaurant visit in our newly opened Grand Reserve and Reserve suites or Luxury Villas on the Estate.

Beresford Luxury Suites and Villas provide visitors with an exclusive accommodation experience combining luxury appointed finishes with contemporary external design. Each suite is built in a way that complements the surrounding natural environment and cleverly utilises sustainable materials.

The House on the Estate has been redeveloped with lavish care and an eye to indulgent detail. Built with modernistic architectural precision, the House features imported Italian furniture, luxury fittings, top of the range appliances and family-owned original artworks, creating an atmosphere of unparalleled luxury.

The view, beer and food were all outstanding. Service was a little slow, but I put that down to the fact the place was jam packed. However, the staff were all really friendly and apologetic about the time some things were taking. I had the Spencer Gulf Kingfish for entree and the steak for main, both of which were outstandingly presented and tasted great. The beer selection is quite vast and there is sure to be something for everyone. If you're not a beer drinker there is also a good selection of wines (unsurprising given it's in the Vale and Beresford is at the bottom of the hill) or if you're wanting a cocktail that can also be made. I saw a few espresso martinis go out and these weren't from a tap, but freshly made.
