Vale Brewing and its sibling brewery Fox Hat Brewing have won two prestigious awards at the Royal Sydney Beer and Cider Show. Vale Brewing’s Tropic Ale was awarded Gold in the Pale Ale- Australian Style category. Fox Hat’s XPA took out a silver medal in the Pale Ale- Other category. Proudly independent and family owned, Vale Brewing was born in McLaren Vale in 2008, it is now owned by Bickford’s Group of Companies.
Vale Brewing released its sibling label Fox Hat Brewing in 2015. 2019 has been a big year for the brewery, releasing two new products to their core range; a Tropic Ale and an XPA under the Fox Hat label. It is a second gold medal for Tropic Ale and is a sensational result for our brewery, and has certainly put us on the map. This lighter style Pale Ale has taken the market by storm and is attracting a wide array of drinkers. The team is thrilled with our success.
We are extremely excited to continue brewing and delivering this great beer into the hands of our consumers. The Silver medal for our XPA was the result of our team wanting to deliver something unexpected and new. We were one of the first to market with this XPA in South Australia, releasing just prior to Coopers XPA launch.
We are proud to deliver an out of the ordinary product for those beer drinkers who want more than a standard Australian style Pale Ale. You will find our Tropic Ale in all good independent bottle shops, Dan Murphy’s and First choice. XPA is available in good independents & First Choice nationally.
